A bit about me

Hi there! My name is Fernanda and I’ve been a graphic facilitator and designer of participatory and collaborative sessions for 15+ years.

One of the red threads across my work is making connections – between people, ideas and place. I am convinced that the solutions to our greatest challenges lie in our collective imagination, knowledge and action, and that to move forward, we must look not just at the pieces but the whole.

I see design as both process and product, as a way of thinking and doing; it’s about connecting the dots and facilitating change.

My approach blends design and visual thinking methodologies, graphic and front-of-room-facilitation, storytelling and speculative design. I love to blur the edges between disciplines, drawing from these tools and my experience to tailor solutions to each unique situation.

I have a BA in Industrial Design from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and an MA in Narrative Environments from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. I also have diplomas in Creative Entrepreneurship from Central Saint Martins and Worldwork facilitation from Process Work UK.

I've had the privilege of working with clients like CarbonGap, Design Council, European Space Agency, Global Commons Alliance, GSG Impact, TED, The Predistribution Initiative, PwC, UNICEF, Wildlife Aid Foundation, the World Economic Forum and the World Maritime Forum.

When I'm not working, you can find me reading, dancing, or enjoying long walks in nature.
